Data infrastructure · Operational reporting

When everything is moving, clarity makes a difference.

DIAMS needed a dependable way for a multi-function team to record activity and understand what needed attention. The starting point wasn’t a fancy dashboard. It was a system for capturing the right information consistently.

01 / THE SITUATION

Many teams. Many moving parts.

Operational updates across vendor activity, marketing, partnerships, community work and internal functions needed consistent capture and a regular management view.

02 / MY ROLE

Design the operating record.

This system was designed during work as a Data & Analytics Officer. It is presented as founding professional experience, not as a separately contracted Marvelous Ascent client engagement.

03 / WHAT WAS BUILT

One structured control system.

  • 12 linked functional workbook sheets
  • Daily activity and departmental trackers
  • Vendor and partnership pipelines
  • Dashboard, KPI rollups and weekly reviews
  • Quality checks and exception signals
04 / WHAT IT PROVES

Infrastructure before interpretation.

The working tracker demonstrates data capture design, reporting logic and operational control thinking. It does not establish a measured long-term increase in productivity or profitability.

05 / A SIMPLIFIED SYSTEM MAP

From everyday activity to clearer decisions.

Illustrative architecture only. No internal records, client identities or confidential workbook screenshots are published.

The next improvement

Make the data stronger over time.

Continue measuring adoption, define consistent dates and contact fields, verify calculations and document KPI rules. With sufficient quality records, the organisation can begin to analyse meaningful trends and bottlenecks.

These are improvement directions, not verified outcomes already achieved.
